Three cheers for Fridays because this means holidays have officially started woohoo! By the time you read this, I would have just arrived in my hometown of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and hopefully I survived the overnight flight and look half-human at least. First things first, I’m heading to my happy place i.e. Mid Valley Megamall for some intense shopping and eating and then the real party begins with the Nuffnang Blog Awards tonight (wish me luck!).

In other news, check out the new members of my family! We thought they were mutant weeds at first and nearly destroyed them when we noticed these wee bunches of teensy fruit. Hello cherry tomtatoes! I don’t know where they came from or how these mysterious seeds appeared in our garden and started propagating but I don’t care. I’ve always wanted a vegetable patch but I have zero horticulture knowledge so this is a pretty awesome gift. Actually make that gifts because we ended up with about 4-5 tomato plants. It has now gotten me all gung ho about finally starting my vege garden that we’re actually in the stages of planning. Exciting stuff. In my world anyway (I feel oh so domesticated).
Have a fabulous weekend everyone and see you soon!
xx

I’ve just started following your blog – love it! :)
I love random vegetables. Although I have a proper vegetable garden, I have an outlaw settlement of vegies living on the outskirts of my compost bin. >:)
Lucky you, I mean the tomato plant. Your attendance at the Award ceremony has been more than well deserved. We moved house just before Christmas so my teeny weeny tomato plans might have missed the boat this year… :-(
