Aw shoot I've been a bad, bad girl haven't I? My posts have been slowly petering out in the last few weeks and it seems like we're drifting apart. Rest assured that I still love you all and it's not you, it's me. And to prove I still love you, here's a cake from me to you!

No really, I'm not pulling your leg. Unfortunately as much as I'd love to absorb myself in the blog and set out to discover a Sydney gem every day of the week or even better - bake and bake like a tripped up Martha Stewart (insert your own gag here), there is a life outside these walls to which I must attend to.

That being my life as a university student. Recipe books had to be reluctantly pushed aside for the likes of Gibbons and dusty bibles. Gourmet Traveller and Vogue Entertaining had to be replaced by Josephus and Plutarch. Instead of thinking about desserts, I had to think about them crazy Romans (oh, the debauchery!).

You get the picture.

Seeing as Easter is looming, I always try to finish everything I can before the holidays, so I don't have to spend my time off thinking about work and the such. So I promise you all, dear friends, that once the holidays die down, I will be back with a vengeance, better and more productive than ever with a slew of mouthwatering posts coming your way. Not even a newly purchased Guitar Hero will be powerful enough to distract me from my second coming!
